Where to Find the Best Trivia in Kansas City
The Kansas City’s trivia scene is hot! On almost any given night of the week you can find intense rounds of trivia happening at local bars, breweries, and restaurants all across town. If you’re looking to get out of the house and put all your useless knowledge to the test then you’ve come to the right place to see when, where, and what time to do so. Grab the smartest friends you know, a cold beer, a clean whiteboard, and get ready for some fun!

Sunday
KC Bier Co: Located in Waldo, KC Bier Co. says “Let’s get Trivial" every Sunday of the month from 1 - 3 pm. Join their Growler Club for a one-time $55 fee and lock in amazing perks that include 10% off refills (but make it 20% on Wednesdays!)
Sail Away Wine: Every Sunday from 1 - 3 pm in North Kansas City! Sample many of their amazing wines and enjoy one of their delicious flatbreads!
Monday
Atomic Cowboy: You can find trivia happening at Westport’s Atomic Cowboy every Monday at 7 pm. Grab a slice of ‘Za from Fat Sully’s and order a $4 mystery shot to really get the juices flowing!
Chicken N Pickle: Every Monday at 7 pm. Located in North Kansas City. Has some of the most delicious food so arrive early or stay late for a bite to eat or game of pickle ball!
City Barrel: The first Monday of every month is about to be a little more rocking, because that’s when City Barrel has their MUSIC trivia! Join them in the Crossroads from 8 - 10 pm.
Gaels Public House & Sports: Every Monday starting at 7pm and you can have up to 8 teammates! Enjoy their $9 Wagyu Beef, Lamb, or Mushroom burgers special. Also of note, Domestic pitchers are $15.
Tuesday
Bar K: Once a month on a Tuesday at 6 pm. Bring your furry friend for a fun night at this two-acre dog park. They can roam around with other doggos while you play trivia! It’s a win-win!
Barley’s Kitchen & Tap: Join them at their Overland Park location every Tuesday at 7 pm for trivia. Tip: arrive by 6 pm to also enjoy their happy hour specials!
Brew Lab: Taco Tuesday and trivia? We can’t think of a better combo. Every Tuesday at 7 pm and located in Downtown Overland Park. Enjoy their $2 fan favorite street tacos all day while diving into your intense game of trivia.
Brick House: Every Tuesday at 7 pm. Located in the heart of Martini Corner and a favorite local bar. Get their early to grab a drink on their superb patio!
Cinder Block Brewery: Every Tuesday at 6:30 pm. Located in North Kansas City and hosted by Greeks Who Drink. This small craft brewery also has a great patio. Their english cherry cider is one of my favorite local brews!
Double Shift Brewery: Every Tuesday at 7pm. This brewery and taproom is located in the Crossroads District. Be sure to follow “Trivia Bowl KC” to see the weekly question categories, ways to earn bonus points, and how to enter for a chance to win a free pint (you can enter every week!)
Hamburger Mary’s: Every Tuesday at 7 pm. Eat, drink, and be.. MARY at this Tuesday night trivia. They also offer 2 for 1 Mary Burgers all night.
John’s Big Deck: Every last Tuesday of the month starting at 7 pm. Happy hour begins at 5 pm and doors open at 6 pm!
Konrad’s Kitchen and Taphouse: Located in Lee Summit with Trivia every Tuesday at 7 pm. It is free to play, but the lucky 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams will win house cash!
Lew’s Grill & Bar: Hosted every Tuesday at 7 pm by DKB Trivia. Located in the Waldo area and open until 3 am every day so enjoy the game and keep the beers flowing well into the night!
Wednesday
Charlie Hoopers: Grab a team (up to 6) and head over to this Brookside Bar and Grille every Wednesday at 7 pm! Wednesday night specials include $6 Bomb Shots, $2 Off Import Bottles, $2 Off Craft Bottles and Cans!
Conrads: Located in Liberty, they have Smartphone trivia happening every Wednesday at 7:30! That’s right, Smartphone trivia!!
Double Tap KC: Every Wednesday at 7:30 pm. A super fun VR bar located in the River Market. Arrive early to enjoy a round of VR play as well as happy hour drinks, which goes from 6–8 pm. Our favorite game is Tower Tag:)
Flying Horse Taproom: Located a little further east of downtown brookside, you will find trivia at Flying Horse Taproom every Wednesday at 7 pm. In their words “Enjoy cold beer, fresh flatbreads and fun times!”
Llywelyn’s Pub: Every Wednesday at 7 pm hosted by DKB Trivia. This pub is located in the heart of of downtown Lee’s Summit. First place winners will receive $50 and second place $25!
The Bar West: Every Wednesday at 7 pm. Located in Shawnee and is your most inviting neighborhood bar. You can’t go wrong with their buffalo chicken sandwich and their late night happy hour is a vibe.
I-Tap: Every Wednesday at 7 pm. Located in the Crossroads District and pouring some delicious crafts beers along with many bottled selections. Give the rainbow sherbet sour a try for me - basically your childhood summer in the form of a beer!
Pawn & Pint: Every Wednesday from 7 - 9 pm at KC’s only board game pub! Located in between the Crossroads and River Market!
Red Crow Brewing: Located out in Western Olathe, Trivia happens two Wednesday each month! Visit their Website’s even page to see this month’s date!
Torn Label Brewing: Every Wednesday at 7 pm in the public house! Prepare to stay because they serve up a multiple round game! Torn label is located in East Crossroads area.
Transport Brewery: Located in Shawnee, you can catch a game of trivia here every Wednesday at 7 pm. Consider is a special spot as it is Shawnee’s first brewery!
Thursday
Brick’s Pub: Every Thursday from 8–10 pm. Another great option located in downtown Lee’s Summit. They have $3 beer special for trivia as well as $2 off apps and $2 tall boys!
Iron District: This super unique food district is open seasonally in North Kansas City. Trivia happens on Thursdays at 7pm. Check out their website or instagram for more information and seasonal hours!
East 40 Brewing: Every Thursday from 7–9 pm hosted by DKB Trivia . Located in Blue Springs and offers a diverse variety of craft beer, cocktails, food! Chek in begins at 6:30.
KC Wine Co.: (seasonal! call to confirm)Every Thursday from 6–8 pm. This themed trivia is sure to be a hit with themes such as Schitt’s Creek, Friends, chick flicks, and more. They will have food tucks and delicious wine tastings for purchase.
Strange Days Brewery: Every Thursday at 7 pm hosted by Let’s Get Trivial. Located in the River Market. They say “times are strange” and so is some your Trivia knowledge so go put it to good use!
Westport Ale House: All day happy hour and trivia? Sounds like a dangerous combo! Join in the fun every Thursday at 7 pm.
Westport Flea Market: Every Thursday at 9 pm. This cash only bar and grill is serving up the most mouth-watering burgers in Westport! No worries though, there is an ATM on site!
Friday
Freddy T’s Bar and Grill: Extreme Trivia on Friday Nights at 9 pm. Need we say more? Located in Overland Park off 151st street!
Misc. KC: Located in North Kansas City, they have themed Trivia every Friday at 7 pm! Please note: you must purchase a $25 ticket. Visit their instagram to see themes and purchase tickets.
